Thunar bug: tree view jumps (scrolls) when clicking on a directory

My just-installed Leap 15.1 with XFCE has Thunar 18.4 which exhibits this serious bug:

That bug report says it’s fixed in 18.5

Will this appear as an update in due course?

I don’t much use XFCE except for occasional testing.

My suggestion: Check whether there is an openSUSE bug report for this. And add yourself to that bug report.

If there isn’t currently a bug report, then you should report it yourself. That provides a reminder to the XFCE maintainer that there is an ongoing problem.
