    Unhappy Geeqie version 1.3 crashes

Geeqie is a lightweight, pleasant and effective image viewer. It is the successor of gqview. I would like to use it.

But I cannot successfully delete an image from within geeqie. The image is deleted, but the poor geek crashes: it shows a black image and does not listen to mouse or keyboard anymore. The OS, luckily, does not crash. (The geek, hence, is not a deadly one).

Does anybody know of a solution? There are newer versions for Fedora and other distributions, but not for openSUSE. I couldn't install 1.4 and 1.5.

Submit a feature request to requesting an update to 1.4 (current stable).
The alternative is to compile from source, sources can be downloaded or cloned from sourceforge or github.
