Thread: Upgrade to Plasma Leap 15.1 and no more root for Dolphin

Default Upgrade to Plasma Leap 15.1 and no more root for Dolphin

As far as I know, openSuse had the only Plasma desktop that let its users open Dolphin and Kate as root. After Leap 15.1 install I noticed that I can no longer open a text file or a folder as superuser. Is there any workaround to get back this useful feature?

My menu still has an entry for "File Manager - Super User mode". And it still seems to work.

Working fine here too (a clean install of Leap 15.1 updated to kde/plasma 5.15.90)

Apologies!! I just looked at the wrong place. "Open with /SuperUser mode" is still there. (I was looking in 'Actions').
    Thanks anyway
    (openSUSE is the best!)
