pyopenssql and openssl compatible version matrix

Friends,

For a old product configuration,
we want to change the openssql version from 1.0.2p to 1.0.2.q.
Would it also mean using next version of pyOpenSSL (current 0.15.1) ?

I am referring

https://www.openssl.org/news/cl102.txt

Thanks - Vikrant

First Q probably is why your request?

Typically, when there is a security hole, it gets patched and then either a new package version is released or the patch is backported into an existing version, which means that even if the openSUSE package name is older, it may still contain the security patch.

If you’re looking to verify a specific vulnerability is patched, there are announcements and changelogs which can be found with simple Internet searches.
