Default Facebook on Firefox misbehaving since bulk updates

Since the bulk updates a few days ago Facebook on Firefox is behaving strangely. The notifications drop down often won't stay down for more than a second, and filling in comments often sends the window scrolling down if I type too fast. Only Facebook seems to be affected. My Leap 15 is an upgrade from 42.3, mostly successful, with a few minor eccentricities.

I personaly am not aware of "bulk updates" a few days ago. But of course we may have different ideas about whta "bulk" is.

Nevertheless it may be interesting to check your reposotiries:
    Code:
    zypper lr -d

There were over seventy of them, and quite a lot the next day.

    First a forum technical remark:
There is an important, but not easy to find feature on the forums.

Please in the future use CODE tags around copied/pasted computer text in a post. It is the # button in the tool bar of the post editor. When applicable copy/paste complete, that is including the prompt, the command, the output and the next prompt.

    The,
The list looks OK, only you have Packman Essentials, but you also have Packman complete. Thus you can remove the Essentials.

It depends of course on the frequency you do patch (or even update).
I can't remember. But maybe you added those from Packman to the amount. Packman sometimes has a long list.

    Does it happen if:

1). With firefox closed temporarily rename "~/.mozilla" (as "~/.mozilla-old" for example) then start firefox, it will create a completely new (firefox) profile.

2). You create a new user.

OK... I assume you mean the new mozilla profile.

If that's the case then you should be able to copy "places.sqlite" from the non-working copy (it's located below "~/.mozilla/firefox/Profiles/[random number]/") to the new profile, that will restore any bookmarks you had previously.
