Thread: seahorse suddenly stopped working and gives error

  1. #1

Question seahorse suddenly stopped working and gives error

    Code:
    [~]: seahorse

(process:3209): GLib-GIO-ERROR **: No GSettings schemas are installed on the system
    Trace/breakpoint trap (core dumped)
    [~]: rpm -q gsettings-desktop-schemas
    gsettings-desktop-schemas-3.24.1-lp150.1.8.x86_64
Till earlier today (before running 'zypper up') everything worked fine. According to /var/log/zypp/history the following packages were installed/updated today:

    libKF5Auth5
    python2-numpy
    python3-numpy
    libKF5Auth5-lang
    imagewriter

Is that a bug that needs to be reported or is it something I have to fix (and how)?

I have just updated one system. I then rebooted. And seahorse is still working as expected.

Did you reboot after the update?
    openSUSE Leap 15.1; KDE Plasma 5;

Ran 'zypper up' today again. A few packages were updated. Now seahorse works.
    Weird.
