I have Chromium from Leap 15 standard repositories and Widevine from Packman Essentials. Chromium 70 can play videos on Netflix, but after update to Chromium 71 Netflix stopped working. How to fix it?
Do you switch all installed packages to Packman , if possible?
zypper dup --from Packman
Packman must be renamed by the name of your Packman-Repo.
Yes, as I said, it works for slightly older Chromium 70. Problem is only after update to Chromium 71
I am not sure, why I dont see Widevine listed in chrome://components even with Chromium 70, but Netflix with old version works and https://bitmovin.com/demos/drm reports Widevine enabled. With version 71 Netflix does not work and https://bitmovin.com/demos/drm reports no DRM enabled.
(just for sure I tried sudo zypper dup --from packman-essentials once more, but zypper responded with nothing to do)
Same her with chromium 71, but I use Firefox.
