Web page loads and shortly after crashes. Disabling all addons doesn’t stop it.
Both of those pages seem perfectly stable here.
This is Leap 15, firefox 60.3.0esr, with no addons beyond the ones that I automatically get (with flash installed, but set to only activate on request).
I’m running it under Plasma 5 (or KDE).
Check your repos. What’s the output from
zypper lr -d
(and use code tags for your output).
No issues for me using Firefox 60.3 ESR (Leap 15) with these websites.

Those repos look okay.
I was concerned about the possibility of mismatched libraries.
Can you now give us the output from (as root)
zypper dup --from packman --dry-run --allow-vendor-change
The command itself won’t make any changes, because it will just be a dry run. But it will tell us whether you have switched all appropriate libraries to the packman repo. Even if you did switch them all in the past, there have been a few new libraries added that might need switching.
This is just a check for possibilities.

But that leaves a puzzle as to why “firefox” is crashing for you. Your firefox should be the same as mine, and it is not crashing here.
Maybe it is something in your firefox profile. Can you try creating a new profile:
From a terminal (konsole) command line:
firefox -P
That should get you to the firefox profile manager, where you can create a new profile. Remember how to do that, because you will also need the profile manager to switch between profiles.
The idea is to check whether it still crashes on those sites with the new profile.
This sounds like a RAM issue
How much RAM do you have I’ve noticed similar behavior on resource intensive sites but I only have 4 gigs of RAM
there are a few things to try to free up some RAM if you’re using an nvidia chip install the propitiatory driver and use hardware acceleration
use a less flashy desktop environment like lxqt disable effects in plasma 5 …
you could try and install an ad blocker as some of them (not all ABP increases RAM usage) reduce RAM load for Firefox

That starts a new firefox appilication. Nothing there on a profile manager. I could try uninstalling and installing firefox. Maybe it’s settings issue?

But the problem might be that you already had firefox running. I forget to mention that you should do that when firefox is not running.
lord_valarian, your PC karma must be the worst I’ve ever encountered. Your threads started link here has 255 hits, 33 since the start of this year. Do you live nextdoor to high tension power lines or a power plant of some kind? Was your house built in 1880, retrofitted with electricity in 1930, and not updated since? Your ability to find and report ways to fail seems uncanny. 
I for one rarely experience crashing from any mozilla.org application, Firefox, Seamonkey or anything else, and this with hundreds of open tabs across 5 or more instances of open mozilla applications. My lack of crashes differs little from the experience of most Firefox users.
Uninstalling an application and reinstalling it in Linux rarely changes any kind of settings. This applies to Firefox, with the arguable exception that at times, reinstalling and then opening an older version after using a newer version can cause profile corruption.
I suggest that when you find an application repeatedly crashing that before opening a thread and reporting such crashing that you consider closing your desktop session and opening a different one to try the same application, to see if maybe your desktop session plays a part in the crashing. IOW, if normally using Plasma, close Plasma and try the same app an IceWM, XFCE or Gnome session.
I don’t suggest you reduce your utilization of opensuse.org forums or any other openSUSE help facility, but I do suggest to consider in the case of certain applications you might be better served looking elsewhere first. In this particular (Firefox) case, consider IRC, more specifically, irc://moznet/#firefox and/or mozillazine.org, where you’ll find a lot of people intimately familiar with Firefox problems and their solutions. Moznet is where I go first in those unusual situations when I do have Mozilla problems I cannot navigate via self-help.
I’m thinking of him as voluntarily doing stress testing for us 
seems appropriate too, trying to provide useful help when or where we can’t recreate ourselves what happens to him.
In opensuse leap 42.3, it wasn’t much of a problem. Opensuse leap 15 seems slower. I’m getting web pages 2/3 finished then firefox stops.

GParted has web surfing app. I have ‘tor browser’. I think i’ll try logging from both. Also, I installed an app called ‘konquer’. It can function as a web browser. It crashed too.
For another post, I see a ‘kwin’ crash on the desktop (KDE). This may be part of the problem
Also here: come up with actual output, true values for what you’re stating here. I.e. start from a terminal window, copy paste output here.
Another thing: stop selectevily using replies of people who spend their free time here to help you. We cannot help you otherwise and by now this continuous flow of undocumented, irreproducable errors where we cannot see ( you don’t show ) what you did in between is eating too many forums members’ energy. Answer questions asked, not just what seems likely to you.
For me, “firefox” worked well on 42.3. However, the “quantum” release came near the end of my using 42.3, so I’m not sure how well that went.
On 15.0, with the “quantum” version, I have had “firefox” crash a few times. But it was never a specific web site. If I restart “firefox”, I can visit the last website without it crashing again. It does seem to require a lot more memory than the earlier versions of “firefox”.
I do read all the messages, sooner or later. However, it takes usually about 20min to 40mins to write each message. Then there the time it takes to gather all the information requested. Not to mention my own searching for solutions before I even post here. You’re only seeing <10% of all the questions I do research on. So, I have about 5 messages out trying to fix problems on two linux systems. I respect the help given, but I only have so much time to respond to them. Sometimes it’s months to get to some the older messages. I’ll get to all the posts in time… 
The pattern of crashes on main linux system is now clear. Thanks to people helping here. The root cause was failing motherboard and harddrive. Both are have been replaced with new items.
FYI, the main system is setup and working. No problems with yahoo mail. The ‘failed to start virtual console’ still occurs. The mail crash is confined to the laptop.
