Default Kill restart plasma and panel

Need to restart the KDE panel, as it keeps dying when I am trying to write a Raspbian boot disk (for some reason...)
Have tried killing the desktop, and restarting, but works fine for the desktop, but still no panel:
    Code:
    killall plasmashell
    kstart plasmashell

    Can anyone help?

Default Re: Kill restart plasma and panel

Have just worked out that the command kstart plasmashell DOES actually restart the panel, as well, but the issue is that the Disk Image Writer program, will not allow the panel to show (which was my original issue...).
    Need to log a bug...
