Default Speed of Pointer motion for Touchpad in System Settings not configurable

    Hi, there,

I am using Tumbleweed with KDE on current snapshot. Some settings for Touchpad in System Settings have become non-configurable for a while. For example, Only "Acceleration" in the "Speed" of "Pointer Motion" is configurable but "Minimum" and "Maximum" are greyed out.

I searched in the forum but no avail. Could anyone please shed some lights on this issue?

    Best regards,

This (AFAIK) is due to the change to libinput as the tool to handle the input devices. Probably KDE systemsettings isn't ready for that yet. FWIW, I see the same.
If I look at the man pages of 'libinput' I don't see the old options either. So, it might not be KDE, but libinput that's not supporting these options.
° Appreciate my reply? Click the star and let me know why.

° Perfection is not gonna happen. No way.

Thank you, Knurpht, for the information and confirmation. It sounds reasonable.
