KDE applications always print A4 paper size

Leap 15.3 KDE is currently using Qt version 5.12.7 –

• The Qt Bug Report QTBUG-71600 mentions that it's being fixed with Qt version 5.13 – <https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-71600>.
• The KDE Plasma 5 Schedule mentions that, Plasma 5 versions 5.23, 5.24, 5.25 and 5.26 are all using Qt version 5.15 – <https://community.kde.org/Schedules/Plasma_5>.

You may have to move from Leap to Tumbleweed …

I have done a fresh install of tumbleweed about 10 days ago.
KDE Plasma Version 5.23.2
KDE Frameworks 5.87.0
Qt Version 5.15.2

Printing here is ok "North America". using okular.
This is the latest tumbleweed snapshot.
I am using brother printer. My printer has an adjustment for paper sizes,
If I print a different size of paper and don't adjust the printer "drawer" (sorry forgot how it's called")
for the right paper size it will spit an error and ask to correct it.

With all setting in the system set to letter .. printing from KATE or Okular forces error at the print requesting A4 size paper.

One of the last post to this thread stated it was fix in Tumbleweed. Well downloading a fresh version and doing a fresh install of Snapshot20220330 still has the SAME problem ...
print of PDFs using Okular and Kate from that install. Printer error requesting A4 paper size.

Could someone please tell me how to resolve this .... searches appear to have had the same issue for more than 10 years.

I will be happy to help someone troubleshoot this .. I would if I new where to start.
Might be a Qt issue.

I fixed this issue, I removed all the references to A4 in the /etc/cups/ppd/(MY_PRINTER).ppd file .... The first time a had left only the LETTER reference which works for regular pages. However when I tried to use if to a number 10 envelope the sized was not found.

It is now fixed.
