Default I am lost! Cannot install dash-to-dock gnome shell extension. Please help!

    Hi,
as both OpenSuse and the new Gnome 3.28.2 newbie I find dash-to dock on the net but am lost in how to install it!

    First, my system:
    Processor Intel Core i3-2328M CPU 2.2 GHz x 4
    Graphics Intel Sandybbridge Mobile
    OS openSUSE Tumbleweed
    GNOME 3.28.2
    OS type 64-bit
    Disk 29.8 GB

    Second, the problem:
After a lot of googleing I got this far:

    https://micheleg.github.io/dash-to-dock/download.html

    From there I got to
    https://extensions.gnome.org/extensi.../dash-to-dock/
There is a stark warning on top of this site:
"Although GNOME Shell integration extension is running, native host connector is not detected. Refer *documentation* for instructions about installing connector."
So, I klick "documentation" and get:
    https://wiki.gnome.org/Projects/Gnom...e/Installation
And from there I install GnomeShellIntegration as Addon for Firefox, ok.

But what next? "Tweak" > "Extensions" does not show it!

    Also https://wiki.gnome.org/Projects/Gnom...e/Installation
shows "The easiest way to install extension and connector is use your distro's favorite package manager. "

But no gnome-shell extension dash-to-dock in package manager

Also, I have dash-to-dock@micxgx.gmail.com.v63.shell-extension.zip in my Downloads, but do not know how to install it (of course I unzipped it but, dumb me, I did not found an instruction).

What is the proper and most easy way to install the Gnome extension dash-to-dock?

    Thank you, susecub

    Hi
In Firefox, just browse to https://extensions.gnome.org and there
should be a popup to install the shell integration, from there search
for your extension, click on the link and press the install button....

If not using firefox, then either chrome or epiphany (with
    gnome-shell-browser-plugin package).

Once it's installed, should be able to see the extension on the browser
tab, or via the tweak tool.

Maybe you haven't closed your Firefox completely and re-opened after installing your Gnome Shell Integration?
I don't see that mentioned in the instructions, but it's always a requirement I've seen every time a major change is made to the browser.

    Then,
Either FF should be able to find your "Dash to Docker" extension automatically if it's already selected or you browse for it.

    ...
Thanks, but I still are required to install the "native host connector", and I do not know how to do it despite the documentation I mentioned in my 1st post

SOLVED: Thank you, all set! I had not noticed this ON/OFF button at the top right corner.
