Snapper error "Cannot call has_iface? if not intrspected" nor continue `zypper upgrade`
Seeking help on
(1) snapper error
(2) some free space appears missing I think related to (1)
I was running a `zypper update` to switch the box from 42.2 to 42.3 (yeah slow I know) which failed due to no disk space. My usual fix is to load snapper & delete old snapshots & continue...
Opening snapper from GUI asks for root password then nothing. From terminal I get the snapper draw on screen then the following error before it too closes
"Error
Querying snapper configurations failed
Cannot call has_iface? if not introspected"
df -h shows
/dev/sda8 23G 19G 67M 100% /
/dev/sda8 23G 19G 67M 100% /.snapshots
/dev/sda8 23G 19G 67M 100% /var/spool

/dev/sda7 22G 18G 2.8G 87% /fed_home
/dev/sda9 23G 16G 6.4G 71% /home
I logged out & back in, even rebooted, and the system is reporting 42.3 but I know it didn't complete upgrade.
A `zypper upgrade` reveals
1339 packages to upgrade, 59 new, 8 to remove, 2 to change arch.
Overall download size: 1.86 GiB. Already cached: 0 B. After the operation, additional 358.5 MiB will be used.
(i forget the % it completed; my system is bloated with many DEsktops; all valuable data is backed up)
`snapper list` reveals
Type | # | Pre # | Date | User | Cleanup | Description | Userdata
-------+---+-------+--------------------------+------+---------+-----------------------+--------------
single | 0 | | | root | | current |
single | 1 | | Sun May 29 03:46:17 2016 | root | | first root filesystem |
pre | 2 | | Thu May 3 12:04:42 2018 | root | number | zypp(zypper) | important=yes
i have since `snap delete 2` but didn't get any extra disk space.
I have rebooted using 42.2 install-thumb-drive and `btrfs check /dev/sda8` and nothing [unusual] shown
I have run `zypper clean -a` & a few other hail-mary's to no avail.
I had ~4gb free space in / for 42.2 -> 42.3 jump
My system performs normally & like an opensuse should (clean & reliable)
Any thoughts on snapper error, or my space issue greatly appreciated.

Re: Snapper error "Cannot call has_iface? if not intrspected" nor continue `zypper upgrade`
Third (re)boot (plus cold boots) and I logged into text-terminal (ctrl+alt+f4) and for some reason this time `df -h` showed 4.1gb [Yeah my space is back] available in /, so I let `zypper update` continue 42.3 upgrade and it completed.
I've done something and Snapper no longer shows in Yast2 (terminal or YaST (gui); one was modification to /etc/sysconfig/yast2 [USE_SNAPPER="no"] which sounds like the cause; the second I've forgotten (max number of snapshots stored)
Anyway - problem fixed itself.
