    Default AW: Install TL-WN725N driver

hwinfo --wlan --short and lsub -t are not useful becaus we do not see the ID which is important.

    Better is:
    Code:
    /usr/sbin/hwinfo --wlan
(with path to use it as User)
    or
    Code:
    lsusb
And please use Code-Tags for the output, the small #.

The issue still appears to point back to a wpa_supplicant issue which I posted the link to. If I had that device I would start there.

    Maybe.

But do you know, if inside the Hardware the same Chip is working?

Here I have (not wireless) an Video Grabber with the same name but is build with 3 different Chips inside.......

The post I linked to walked through all the steps to perform those tests and discover if the hardware is recognized. Is it better to re-explain all of those steps in this post or to reference a post that already explained the steps and then have the OP continue on if he finds issues? My original reply was just to determine his version of the wireless device since there is a V1 and a V2 with different chipsets. The post I linked to covers his chipset.

I am going to leave it at that and stop responding to this thread.
