Thread: On spell checking in KDE applications

Default On spell checking in KDE applications

    Hi all,

spell checking works in Kate, where if I select Change Dictionary... I have both English UK and US.

However, in Kile I can only see English UK and spell checking does not work. Is it using a different dictionary?

Kate seems to be using myspell (I can only tell because I added one more language in myspell and it appeared in kate's menu), and I also have ispell installed. Kile, however, seems to be using neither one. How can I set the dictionary used by the various editors?

    Thanks!

This depends on whether kile has support built in, AFAIK.
