Multiple, I cross a lot of venues.

Mainly Country, I suppose, but, Jazz, Blues, Folk, Pop, and mostly Swing in those venues. I do not really have a category.

If I like it, I perform it, and if I come up with something I like, I write it, whichever category it falls into.

I like everything musical, which includes Classical, Rock, and almost any other category that is musical.

To speak with one of my heroes: "From Hank to Hendrix". Fellow Canadian, btw, mr. Neil Young.

I was brought up with only church music, at least that's what was intended. But my dad liked jazz ( as far as Miles, not beyond ), mum only liked hymns and psalms and ..... Mahalia Jackson, Billy Holiday, Ella and she used to sing their songs phonetically, not understanding the words, but the reverend was convinced of their religious content, so I heard her singing out loud 'One day he'll come along, the man I love' whilst being happily married to my dad. I was sort of forced to learn to play the church organ and expected to love and play nothing but Bach. These days, genre, category whatever, I don't care. If music 'grabs' me, it's OK.

EDIT: I was triggered to post this by previous reply, but I realize this is completely off-topic

Boy, we are taking this off topic, eh? Perhaps, if there is more music to discuss, the next person should start a new thread in Chit-Chat.

After a brief stint ("brief" being 3 years) of Thinking Different, I went back to Linux full time (I was dual booting macOS and openSUSE, but gradually came to the point of never booting in to macOS to do the daily things and decided to jump back in full time).
I do love the macOS UX, so gnome has been tweaked accordingly.
Dual monitor setup, with 23" as primary, laptop as secondary. Mid-2015 MacBook Pro Retina.
(side note: when my wife hops on my laptop to do a quick search or email check, she has no idea that it's not macOS)

Random complaint, non openSUSE related: Gnome needs to bring back the capability to simultaneously have different wallpapers on each monitor/desktop)
