    Default Big update

    Latest version 15.0 XFCE

    Just testing. I did a
    Code:
    zypper up
this morning and noted that it wanted to update apparmor and about eight more applications. Since I don't like apparmor I decided to delete it by
    Code:
    zypper rm --clean-deps apparmor
. After I had done that and locked out apparmor I then
    Code:
    zypper up
. All of a sudden it wanted to upgrade 1883 applications. Well I did it but I certainly would like to know why it suddenly changed in a matter of 10 minutes.

    Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Many thanks. I guess I'm not going nuts after all. That also explains why Firefox won't start from a user login. Only a root login works. Investigation continues.

    You should probably be using
    Code:
    zypper dup
for now (while it is still in beta testing. It is more like a rolling distribution. After the official release, then start using "zypper up".

And yes, there was a large update to Build139.1
    openSUSE Leap 15.3; KDE Plasma 5.18.6;

That's what I do, checked 'zypper up' a couple of times, which gives the same result re. package updates. But my reasoning was exactly the same.
