    Default Mouse/trackapd issues

    Hi guys,

This is a new one on me and I really do hope you guys can help me. For the last few days the mouse/trackpad has had a mind of its own. The right button now has decided that it is the dominant one and the left doesn't do anything. I tried to fix it using the settings, but to no avail. Sometimes the pointer decides that it wants to start drawing a box, and won't stop. The pointer stops working when I got VLC on and will not click on anything. Sometimes it will drag icons around until I bang hard enough for it to stop. This has been in the last 5-7 days or so.

This is on a Lenovo G50-30

This reads like a possible hardware issue rather than driver related. Unfortunately, it seems to be a common problem with this Lenovo range....

Your best bet is to take it up with Lenovo IMO.

    Question Re: Mouse/trackapd issues

You may wish to share with us the name of the Desktop GUI you're using.

Please be aware that, there are issues with the Synaptics Touchpad Driver: <https://doc.opensuse.org/release-not...USE/Leap/42.3/>

Take a look at the section "2.1.2 Synaptics Touchpad Driver with KDE Plasma": <https://doc.opensuse.org/release-not...2.synapticskde> (not applicable if you're not using the KDE Plasma Desktop).

Seems like you are right. Was going to see if a full re-install of the system would do it. But as it happens it behaved the same say on the installer. God****it.
