Question Unable to update (It gets to me 502 Badgetway error)

    hi all
i want to update my OS some days ago and i have a problem with it
i am using "Software Update" to update and after some minute it get me below error:

    Code:
    Download (curl) error for 'http://opensuse-guide.org/repo/openSUSE_Tumbleweed/repodata/repomd.xml':
    Error code: HTTP response: 502
Error message: The requested URL returned error: 502 Bad Gateway
    when i entered
    Code:
    http://opensuse-guide.org/repo/openSUSE_Tumbleweed/repodata/repomd.xml
in my browser, it gets me
    Code:
    Internal Server Error
after that i am using MS Windws and use a VPN and enter above path the was open without any issue.

my IP is changed from Iran to Canada
does it depends on IP or my interent provider?

    Code:
    Opensuse Tumbleweed
    Kernel: x86_64 Linux 4.13.11-1-default
    Thanks.

I'm not too sure what you're trying to do there...

It appears you're using Tumbleweed. In which case the only correct method of updating is to issue from the command line:

    Code:
    sudo zypper dup
However, before doing that, could you please show what repositories you've enabled?

    Code:
    sudo zypper lr -d

    All looks OK.

As I assume you've already installed "libdvdcss", then repository #3 can be disabled anyway as it's no longer needed. (I don't know why you're unable to reach that repository)...

All the repositories you have enabled are TW, so...

You should be able to perform a "zypper dup" from the command line, which is the only correct way to update TW. (If you had previously been updating any other way then you've been quite lucky nothing's broken).

In general, 500 errors are server-side, nothing you can do as a client user except message the web server (or web master) administrator.

Recommend submitting a bug to https://bugzilla.opensuse.org

and/or connecting to a different mirror.
