Default How do you stop script ssue-generator [etc/sysconfig] from overwriting modified /etc/issue file ?

Making the assumption that the script /etc/sysconfig/issue.generator is the cause of my modified /etc/issue file being rewritten at each boot...

However, renaming this script doesn't stop it, moving it to another directory doesn't stop it, have not found an option in yast.

Is there a a cron script which is doing this? [I haven't found one]

    Any help appreciated.

    cheers,

    Paul

Just create /etc/issue as regular file and not as link to /run/issue.
