Please read the following thread about the current changes
I am using openSUSE 42.3, 64-bit. I followed these instructions: https://forums.opensuse.org/showthre...SUSE-Leap-42-3 and installed the multimedia files. I then downloaded a movie file with the .flv extension, double-clicked on it and Dragon Player was launched. But the movie does not play... I then saw this thread: https://forums.opensuse.org/showthre...ight=flv+files but I'm not sure how a "vendor change" is done. This is the output of: zypper lr -d Repository priorities are without effect. All enabled repositories share the same priority. # | Alias | Name | Enabled | GPG Check | Refresh | Priority | Type | URI | Service ---+---------------------------------+-----------------------------------------+---------+-----------+---------+----------+--------+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+-------- 1 | download.opensuse.org-non-oss | Main Repository (NON-OSS) | Yes | (r ) Yes | Yes | 99 | yast2 | http://download.opensuse.org/distrib.../repo/non-oss/ | 2 | download.opensuse.org-non-oss_1 | Update Repository (Non-Oss) | Yes | (r ) Yes | Yes | 99 | rpm-md | http://download.opensuse.org/update/leap/42.3/non-oss/ | 3 | download.opensuse.org-oss | Main Repository (OSS) | Yes | (r ) Yes | Yes | 99 | yast2 | http://download.opensuse.org/distrib...42.3/repo/oss/ | 4 | download.opensuse.org-oss_1 | Main Update Repository | Yes | (r ) Yes | Yes | 99 | rpm-md | http://download.opensuse.org/update/leap/42.3/oss | 5 | libdvdcss | libdvdcss | Yes | (r ) Yes | Yes | 99 | rpm-md | http://opensuse-guide.org/repo/openSUSE_Leap_42.3/ | 6 | openSUSE-Leap-42.3-0 | openSUSE-Leap-42.3-0 | No | ---- | ---- | 99 | yast2 | cd:///?devices=/dev/disk/by-id/ata-ASUS_DRW-24B1ST_j_F2D0CL045653 | 7 | packman.inode.at-suse | Packman Repository | Yes | (r ) Yes | Yes | 99 | rpm-md | http://packman.inode.at/suse/openSUSE_Leap_42.3/ | 8 | repo-debug | openSUSE-Leap-42.3-Debug | No | ---- | ---- | 99 | yast2 | http://download.opensuse.org/debug/d...42.3/repo/oss/ | 9 | repo-debug-non-oss | openSUSE-Leap-42.3-Debug-Non-Oss | No | ---- | ---- | 99 | yast2 | http://download.opensuse.org/debug/d.../repo/non-oss/ | 10 | repo-debug-update | openSUSE-Leap-42.3-Update-Debug | No | ---- | ---- | 99 | rpm-md | http://download.opensuse.org/debug/u...leap/42.3/oss/ | 11 | repo-debug-update-non-oss | openSUSE-Leap-42.3-Update-Debug-Non-Oss | No | ---- | ---- | 99 | rpm-md | http://download.opensuse.org/debug/u.../42.3/non-oss/ | 12 | repo-source | openSUSE-Leap-42.3-Source | No | ---- | ---- | 99 | yast2 | http://download.opensuse.org/source/...42.3/repo/oss/ | 13 | repo-source-non-oss | openSUSE-Leap-42.3-Source-Non-Oss | No | ---- | ---- | 99 | yast2 | http://download.opensuse.org/source/.../repo/non-oss/ | How do I play .flv files??
but I'm not sure how a "vendor change" is done. Code: zypper dup --from 7 or Code: zypper dup --from packman.inode.at-suse or Code: zypper dup --from http://packman.inode.at/suse/openSUSE_Leap_42.3/ or: http://paste.opensuse.org/92222495 or. http://paste.opensuse.org/71856337
zypper dup --from 7
zypper dup --from packman.inode.at-suse
zypper dup --from http://packman.inode.at/suse/openSUSE_Leap_42.3/
Go to System settings>Applications>File associations; enter flv in the search box and then adjust the order of the programs you see. I can see Kaffeine and VLC among others in the list.
