Question Unable to change SDDM Login Theme After In Place Upgrade from Opensuse 13.2

I have completed two In Place upgrades to Leap 42.3 on different hardware from OpenSuse 13.2. Everything seems to work but I have noticed that I can't change the login themes. You can make the changes but they don't seem to apply so no matter what you do you get the default login theme and background. This problem doesn't seem to occur on fresh installs or on in place upgrades from 42.2.

Had a eureka moment after I made this post. Checked the Display manager the settings in Yast. The in place upgrade did not change the display manager from KDM. I changed it to SDDM and now everything works. I have not had to mess with Display Manager in so long I nearly forgot about it.
