Thread: KDE asks for passphrase on Login

Default KDE asks for passphrase on Login

Since my last change in Kalendar, added a google calendar, a password request (pinentry) pops up on every Login to my user session. I suppose it comes from KDEWallet but I'm not sure.

How can I suppress the passphrase request?
    Many thanks in advance.

I think the password request comes when kdewallet is used the first time.

No ideas if this can be avoided ?

    Thanks

If you're happy to live with a little less security, you can configure it with a blank password, then you'll be free of the manual prompting.

It looks like I've initialised kdewallet with a PGP Key. The password request is for this key. Is it possible to revoke this initial setup of kdewallet and configure it with a simple blank passwword as you wrote? I did not find a way up to now.
