Default Unable to install command line version of mediainfo app

Hi I am Rupesh and I have some audio files for which I want to calculate play back length, size etc., and I want to export to csv file and so I want to try mediainfo.

I have installed mediainfo app which is downloaded from opensuse official website along with that I have also installed mediainfo gui app.

When I type media and immediately after pressing tab key it is not showing mediainfo instead it is showing mediainfo_gui.

I have downloaded mediainfo_cli from mediainfo website and tried to compile the source code but it is showing a number of errors.

please suggest how to execute command line version of mediainfo in terminal.
    Regards,
    Rupesh.

Default Re: Unable to install command line version of mediainfo app

Information shows from terminal command: mediainfo Music/*

    also try
    terminal command: mediainfo --help
    and
    terminal command: mediainfo --help-output

    To see try
    example : mediainfo Music/mey_20170420.mp3

Several reports written file example: mediainfo --LogFile=mey2017 Music/mey_2017*.mp3

Try with single music track first.

Best install from repositories suited to openSUSE 42.2
    example http://packman.inode.at/suse/openSUSE_Leap_42.2/
