Firefox has trouble

After a very big update, Firefox and Thunderbird do not work well anymore. Thunderbird has been resolved after a later update.
But Firefox does not work well, no clear screen. Is not to be used like that.
Firefox version 53.0-6.16 x64.


For the time being, but using Opera.

KDE PLasma 5.9.5
Frameworks 5.33.0
QT 5.7.1
Kernel 4.11.2-1 default
Type OS 64-bit

Not the standard Tumbleweed MozillaFirefox package..... if you rollback to the standard version, does it duplicate? Proprietary driver used for your graphics?

If it doesn't duplicate, then probably best to follow up with the repository maintainers of the 53.x version.

The Mozilla repository is the development repo (not the distribution repo), AFAIK there are other reasons for not deploying the 53.x version with Tumbleweed (Browse the Factory ML).

Maybe wait a few cycles and try again, else look at creating a bug report;
