Thread: GNOME Panel has no settings/widget functions

Default GNOME Panel has no settings/widget functions

I'm quite confused to the basic functionality of this panel, I can adjust clock settings inside the took tweak area but can't add widgets or anything. I can't even get a taskbar trayicon section going, there is no method of editing the panel like you can on the KDE desktop?

Am I missing something? is my install broken because I read all over the place that you should be able to right click on it and customize it a fair bit, but my install doesn't allow anything!

Ok while I never found the hidden function of being able to right click panel and adjust its settings I did find the right combo of extensions to resolve my issues.
