I’ve noticed that while working in Kile, my system will periodically freeze for 5-10 seconds every few minutes. This only happens when I’m working in Kile. Is this a known problem? I know Kile was written for KDE 4 so it’s not entirely surprising this could be occurring. Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this, and recommendations for a Kile alternative in the meantime? I checked out TeXstudio, and it seems ok, although some files do not compile, whereas they do in Kile so other recommendations are welcomed. Thanks.
