    Default Displaying Unicode Navicons

Nowdays there are many sites that use unicode characters instead of imagen icons, on those I see only squares with numbers inside instead of the menu icon for example. At first I thought it was my browser configuration, to test it I paste the unicode browser test in kwrite and some of the characters that doesn't display in firefox do in kwrite and vice versa but both are using the same font GNU Unifont, and same encoding UTF-8 in a Leap 42.1 with i3wm and locale en_US.UTF-8. I really don't know where the problem may be, with that font, encoding and locale the whole miscellanious block should be displayed. There must be something I'm missing. Any direction would be really appreciated.

    Thanks for reading.
