Default How to set powersaving mode

Probably that's a trivial question, but i can't find a way to set the powersaving. Without doing anything in particular my pc gets hot, the fans go max speed and the energy run off fast.

Here's an openSUSE refernce that may provide general information...

Are you monitoring with sensors? Is it the graphics card or CPU that's getting hot? Can you provide additional information here?

I assume you're referring to CPU performance/monitoring. Did you read the openSUSE guide I linked to?

Some good information on using cpupower here as well...
