/etc/profile.local

if the file does not exist, it is created

and this isn’t much of a tip, what hardware does this apply to what driver?
triple buffering is on by default on most hardware
in my experience tearing happens with bad or incomplete drivers, after a kwin5 crash all acceleration gets disabled including 3ple buffering
