    Default Desktop Settings Have disappeared

Hello, everyone. I'm using OpenSuse 42.1 with KDE.My desktop settings icon has disappeared - this led to the tool that allowed me to adjust settings like time and date, power settings, etc. I used to just click on the application menu, and it would be one of the first selections - now it's gone. I am NOT talking about YAST settings, they're fine. Can someone tell me what I should look for or reinstall?

    Thanks, Bob

Check that the package systemsettings5 is installed.

If it only disappeared from the "Favorites", just find it in the menu (should be in "Settings"), right-click on it and choose "Add to Favorites" or drag it to the favorites bar.

Thanks for the reply. I found it eventually. Bob
