I have a 14" laptop with a 2560*1440 screen. But my external monitor connected with HDMI-to-VGA adaptor is 24" with a resolution of 1920*1080. When I set a scaling of 1.3 on the internal screen with a forced DPI of 144, this settings are applied to the external monitor too. That makes icons, fonts and windows too large on the external screen. How could I make the external screen use a DPI of 96 and with no scaling?
The GPU is integral one with Intel Core i7-7600u. My DE is KDE Plasma on openSUSE Tumbleweed.
I have read something like these,

and a bug related <https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=377272>

But I still have no clue on how to achieve my goal on my laptop. Could anyone give me some instructions about this?
