    Default video resolution

I am in need of help with my display drivers. Recently installed Leap42. Had to install with the basic of display drivers. Now I need to fix the display, everything is on the gigantic side. I'm certain I need to download some package, but I do not know which one. Can someone point me in right direction.

More specific details about your graphics hardware will be helpful here

Run the following from a terminal window
    Code:
    /sbin/lspci -nnk|grep '\[03' -A3
and post back with the output

deano_ferrari is one of our experts here, especially when it comes to resolutions.

Out of curiosity, what resolution are you using now ? What is the output of sending this in an xterm/konsole as a regular user :
    Code:
    xrandr

    Thankyou.

Once again, please send the command
    Code:
    xrandr
in a konsole/xterm. Post here the output.

That command not only tells us the resolution in place, but also tells us what resolutions are nominally available with the graphics device as currently configured.

Are you referring to desktop icons, fonts etc? Have you tried tweaking via System Settings yet?

System settings will not allow me to adjust resolution. I would like to be up there above 1024x768.

Now I recall you needed to boot with nomodeset to complete the install, right? You're using a basic framebuffer driver with limited display resolution. I'll let others advise about the driver required as there have been recent changes with respect to radeon and amdgpu drivers that I'm not up to speed with.
