Leap 42.2 & KMail5 updates?

Hello,
Does anybody know if KMail5 will be updated (bug fixes) in Leap 42.2?

If so does anybody know how to find when the updates are likely to be
released? There is a bug that appears to have been fixed some time ago,
but I have not seen any updates. Or is this unknown and therefore a
matter of waiting?

Thank you.

Apps are always being updated,
If you’re looking for specific fixes, then you need to consider where and by whom are those being made… KDE? openSUSE? Someone else?
And then you can look for specific bug reports or version documentation that might describe what has been fixed.

You can then inspect the specific version of the app installed on your machine (or, at least the release date of that version) and possibly look for documentation about that version.

If you more generally just want to get the latest available versions of apps possibly risking some instability, you can add the special repository for that app or type of app, in your case KDE Frameworks and run a “zypper up” to update any installed apps from the new repository.

Thank you tsu2. Unfortunately the KDE Frameworks repo does not seem to
have the kdepim or kmail5 files (or at least I cannot find them), but
from your comment I am a bit more hopeful that the bugs in KMail5 might
be fixed sometime.
I will look into other repos.

Cheers
