Thread: How to find files in package

Question How to find files in package

I used Yast to install i2ctools rpm, but it doesn't appear to have any way to list the installed files.

I also found a source for 'i2ctools' on github, where the makefile says libi2c.so and/or libi2c.ao are to be created in the build.

I tried to use the find command to find libi2c*.so under /usr, but nothing was found.

So how can I find out what files are in the rpm?

You can use the following command which literaly "queries - list" internal files
    Code:
    rpm -ql packagename
    TSU

I posted too hastily. Today I found the files are listed in the YaST tabbed panel at the bottom of the YaST window.
