Running Nuvolaplayer in KDE

I have installed nuvolaplayer on OpenSUSE Leap 42.2 from the following repository
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/multimedia:/apps/openSUSE_Leap_42.2

When trying to start this I get segmentation fault:

djviking@mintaka:~> nuvolaplayer3
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Not much information to read from this why it crashed.

The nuvolaplayer has the following dependencies
https://github.com/tiliado/nuvolaplayer#dependencies
But since only diorite was installed along side nuvolaplayer, I reckon most of these are only build dependencies. Anyway most of these dependencies was not found when I tried a zypper search.

I am using KDE Plasma 5.9. Since nuvolaplayer was built for Unity and GNOME I guess that is why I have problem running it on KDE.

Is there an equivalent nuvolaplayer for KDE which embeds web-based music streaming services on the desktop?

Since Nuvola Player 3 currently officially supports only GNOME and Unity, it is not tested in other desktop environments at all and it is expected that user experience and functionality might not be optimal.

I plan to add support for XFCE, Pantheon, Cinnamon and KDE (in that order) in the future depending on project funding.
