Okular print problem

Hi, when printing with okular the margins of the ouptut are cutted off. Same document printed with evince is ok.

Also libreoffice print are ok, so I think it is a problem with okular. The settings for paper size in okular is allreight, that should not be the reason.

I didn’t find a solution and gave up. I print only with evince now.

I think it was the same with 42.1.

Same here. On all printers (local and via network printers) Lexmark and HP.

PDF printout OK with evince & LibreOffice Draw.

Where to start debugging?

This is a known issue with the KDE Okular application – both the KDE4 Plasma version and, the KDE Plasma 5 version.
There’s a fairly old KDE Bug Report related to this issue.

  • The KDE Okular developers have stated that, page borders are a matter for the application which generated the PDF or Postscript file.
  • The KDE Okular developers have expressed a reluctance to implement an option which would respect the printable region of any given printer.
