I’d like some advice, please, on installing KDE3 on an HP-G62 pa=top on which I have kust installed Leap 42.2
I have installed the one-click KDE3 install.
I remember that in order to make the computer boot KD3 I need to modify the display manager and window manager lines in /etc/sysconfig editor, but I can’t remember what to add. Can anyone refresh my memory?

To choose kdm3 as the default session manager one needs to write DISPLAYMANAGER=“kdm3” line to the file /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager (this can be done with the Yast module etc/sysconfig tool Editor as well).
