    Question How to prevent standby on laptop lid close? (for console mode)

    Hi,

    In XFCE I can configure the laptop lid close not to do anything.

    But how do I do that for console mode (init 3)?

    Check the systemd config in /etc/systemd/logind.conf

    In particular
    Code:
    HandleLidSwitch=ignore
    Code:
    LidSwitchIgnoreInhibited=off
    Reference
    Code:
    man logind.conf
    Hope that helps.
