    Default resizing destop icons

I wanted to resize the desktop icons and when going to System Settings, Application Appearance, Icons. Go to the Advanced Tab and resize icon size. I do that but it doesn't change the size. What's wrong? How can I resize icons? using KDE

Right-click on the desktop (or left-click on the toolbox icon in the top-left corner) and choose "Configure Desktop".

Thanks. That worked. Maybe its a Plasma thing why it didn't work in the System settings?

Just like with other applets: because every folderview applet can have its own icon sizes/settings. (and if you have the icons on the desktop directly, it does use a folderview applet internally for that)

It should use the size from System settings by default when you create a new one though I think.
