Thread: Missing edit function in shutter on Leap 42.2

  1. #1

Default Missing edit function in shutter on Leap 42.2

The Edit button/function is missing in Shutter 0.93.1-1.1 in Leap 42.2, although it was working perfectly in Leap 42.1.
Suggestion for Ubuntu is to install libgoo-canvas-perl and gnome-web-photo, but there is no libgoo-canvas-perl package for openSUSE, not even in the Perl repo used to install shutter on Leap 42.1 (http://download.opensuse.org/reposit...USE_Leap_42.1/).
    Any ideas?

It's called perl-Goo-Canvas, and it is available in that repo you mentioned (you should use the URL for 42.2 though, http://download.opensuse.org/reposit...USE_Leap_42.2/).

No idea if that helps though, never used (or installed) shutter myself.

    Hi,
    excellent hint, thank you.

Shutter's edit function is working after the following commands:
    zypper ar -f http://download.opensuse.org/reposit...USE_Leap_42.2/ Perl
    zypper in perl-Goo-Canvas #automatically selects libgoocanvas3 and libgoocanvas3-lang
