Thread: A plugin for playing MP4 videos in Firefox?

Default A plugin for playing MP4 videos in Firefox?

The upgrade from 42.1.to 42.2 did not go well. I ended up performing a clean installation of 42.2.

As a result various peripheral items keep popping up that had been resolved many years ago. This time it is the plugin that is required to play MP4 videos in Firefox. It was fine in 42.1; not in 42.2.

Does anyone know where to find that codec / plugin?

When I did a fresh install I think I followed this guide:
