    Default system tray: lost functionality

    hi,

    system tray: lost functionality

after using pc for about 15 minutes some functions of the system tray are lost

all looks ok, but when an item in it is selected the response is not as expected,
    e.g.
    - with left mouse selection, clipboard contents is sometimes not shown, drop-down menu to clear clipboard never appears
    - with left mouse selection, NetworkManager, drop-down menu to change status, never appears

    right mouse clicks still function

os, KDE Plasma 5.8.4 Distro: openSUSE Leap 42.2

has anyone else noticed this effect?
    any quick fix?

    cheers

Lightbulb Re: system tray: lost functionality

Please tell us which hardware platform you are using.
If it's an AMD based machine then, we're slowly but surely building a case for a fairly major hardware dependency issue . . .
