Default BUG: hp-setup hangs and fills hard-drive

Today, as LEAP 42.2 was released, I wiped and reloaded my Desktop with OpenSuSE LEAP 42.2.

Anyhow, as I was reconfiguring my system, in particular my HP LAN printer, from the YaST-Printers modules, I ran the hp-setup, entered the ip-address of the printer manually, and then clicked "next".

After that, hp-setup froze. I force-closed it and re-opened it a few times with the same result of the application hanging up. Then I tried rebooting the computer, and it refused to show the GUI.

So, I logged into the terminal to try and troubleshoot the problem, and I found that the /tmp folder is occupying around 35GBs!!

    The offending file was named:
    Code:
    /tmp/YaST2-02621-Ybad8N/stdout
I previewed the file, and this is it's content:
    Code:

Default Re: BUG: hp-setup hangs and fills hard-drive

I experienced the same problem. It seems to me that the hp-setup GUI does not prompt the user to download the plugin. I managed to get it working by running hp-setup in a terminal and responding to the prompts. Even using the GUI, the prompts appear in the terminal.
