My monitor died. I had a backup monitor but I accidentally set my KDE4 Desktop Config monitor setting to an unsupported resolution and now KDE does not display. I can boot to a console. How do I delete the KDE setting?

Problem solved. It was actually Plasma5 and the correction was to delete /home/user/.local/share/kscreen.
