    Default owncloud ask password and kwallet also

    my system is running opensuse leap 42.1 with plasma 5.8.0:
    Laptop=Dell latitude E6510, RAM=8Gb, GPU=GT218 NVS 3100M, CPU=i7 Q 720 @ 1.60GHz
    upgraded 13.2 to leap 42.1, using wolfi repos. I'm running KDE 4.14.18 and plasma 5.8.0, KDE frameworks 5.27.0, KDE applications 16.08.1, Kernel 4.1.31-30-default and nvidia drivers

    I'm using this:
    owncloud-client - The ownCloud synchronization client
    Version: 2.2.4-1.1
    Vendor: obs://build.opensuse.org/isvwnCloud
    Source Package: owncloud-client-2.2.4-1.1

    and at login both owncloud and kwallet ask me the password, if kwallet ask first and I'm enough fast to insert the kwallet password then owncloud doesn't ask me, otherways I have to insert both passwords.
    how can I avoid owncloud to ask me password and use kwallet global password only??
    manythanks, ciao, pier

    KDE 4 and Plasma 5.8?

    I've seen this in the past, but have moved to nextcloud.
    The workaround for me was to edit the owncloud.desktop file in ~/.config/autostart and replace
    Code:
    Exec=/usr/bin/owncloud
    by
    Code:
    Exec=sleep 10;/usr/bin/owncloud
    This gave me 10 secs to let kwallet start first and enter the password.

    Must say though, I haven't seen this since I'm on Tumbleweed.

    yes, with wolfi repos I can work with leap 42.1 and KDE4, that is very more better than plasma5 expecially for services and multiple wallpapers on multiple desktops and other few things, and use plasma 5.8 when I don't work to useto it ...

    I will try, many thanks, but, is there a way to start owncloud after the insertion of the password in kwallet?? ...in this way it should not depend on the time

    Use nextcloud-client.
    owncloud-client from repo above use own keychain packages wich are diffrent
    from 'original' keychain packages from opensuse.
    It can happend to conflicts with the original.
