Default Installing new fonts in Plasma 5 left me with a very slow system...

Someone's going wrong opensuse 42.1 KDE leap from today's updates 09/14/2016?
I have a feeling that the problem is the access to the encrypted home. The system is almost clean, reinstalled it two days ago. Until I updated this morning went well.
Goes so slow it is unusable, it takes about a minute to load applications, have a ssd and i7, everything has always gone very fast. I am now from Linux Mint KDE 18.

    Greetings and thanks

    Partitions: root ext4
    ext4 encrypted home

    I doubt that.

The last update probably included a kernel update. On reboot, there would be a cleanup of old kernels. Perhaps that loaded your system.

In any case, try running "top" in a terminal, to see if there is a looping process that is loading the system.

A few days ago, my system seemed to lockup. But I was able to "ssh" into the system from another computer. The load average was ridiculously high. It looked as if a fork bomb had gone off.

This has not occurred again since then. The logs were not useful. It's possible that you had something similar happen.

    I executed the command #top
But I do not know what to do with the data I see. Everything seems normal.

They seem to show dolphin using 100% CPU (perhaps on one of several processors). Possibly dolphin is looping, and that might be the cause of your problems.

Any application that i start it takes time to open. Dolphin is only an example. Any process.

That's typically true. A newly started process use a lot for a brief period. But it usually settles down to lower usage before you check the "top" output.

In any case, this illustrates what you are looking for -- a process that is hogging the system. You can ignore temporary bursts of activity, and look for persistent high usage.

I found the source of the problem. I reinstalled the system and was fine until I copied my folder with my collection of type fonts on the route

    /usr/share/fonts/personalfonts

Now the whole system is super slow. It seems a bug in the Dolphin file manager.
