Question Correct way to start a program on login

New opensuse user here, I've been using Arch for the last 4 years and finally got tired of not having everything work right out of the box. I use a program called xcape for keybindings and want it to start whenever I login. In Arch I just stuck it in my ~/.profile and while that works in opensuse/kde I wasn't sure if there was a more correct, "opensuse" way to do it.

Should be fine but it would be user specific. If it ain't broke don't fix it
