Install LEAP 42.1 on Chromebook

Has anyone on this forum installed LEAP 42.1 on a Chromebook?

I have been running 13.2 on an Acer Chromebook with only 16G of drive for over a year with reasonable success after following the instructions at https://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php/503763-Install-OpenSUSE-13-2-on-a-Acer-chromebook-c720. Now I would like to upgrade to 42.1. Any suggestions or links would be appreciated.

Check GalliumOS. It is based on Xubuntu and made specifically for chromebooks, so everything should work out of box. I am using it for about 2 months and no problems so far.

I have tried installing openSUSE Leap 42.2 on my Lenovo N22 and installator failed to load because of screen resolution.
