Default updating kernel update kills Firefox

    hi,

after updating to kernel-default-4.6.2-1.5.i586 from kernel-default-4.6.2-1.2.i586,
    MozillaFirefox-47.0-1.2.i586 no longer ran,
no problems running Konqueror Version 4.14.21
(both Using KDE Development Platform 4.14.21)

    crashes as follows
    Code:
    tosh-sm60<2016Jun26@22:18><~/Updates/13.3/packets/2016-06>... firefox
(firefox:5554): Gtk-WARNING **: Theme directory actions/48 of theme breeze has no size field

with the latest updates on 64bit os firefox works ok

so it looks like the problem is only on 32bit os

    Code:
Kernel: 4.6.2-1-default x86_64 (64 bit) Desktop: KDE Plasma 5.6.4 Distro: openSUSE Tumbleweed (20160625)

With (freshly installed) openSUSE 20160716 "Tumbleweed" 32 bit kernel 4.6.3-1-default and Firefox "MozillaFirefox-47.0.1-1.1.i586" still the same problem.

Looking at the same crash with icecat (Bug 1332926) the discussion there is talking of the optimization of gcc6 being too aggressive.
So it doesn't really have something to do with the kernel itself.
